Here's how to determine the right ring size for you:

Ring sizes are usually given in millimeters (mm) - the measurement refers to the inner circumference of a ring.

The inner diameter of the ring is also important for determining the ring size.

To calculate the inner circumference of a ring, you use the following formula:

Inner diameter x 3.14 = ring size (circumference)

And this is how you measure:

1) There are ring tape measures that you wrap around your finger - they show you your finger circumference in mm.

2) Wrap a strip of paper around your finger and mark the beginning and end. Measure the distance between the two marks and you have your finger circumference.

3) Measure the inner diameter of a well-fitting ring, multiply this value by 3.14 and you have your optimal ring size.

Notes on the measurements:

1) Measure on the finger on which the ring will be worn.

2) The best time of day to measure is in the evening, as the fingers swell during the day.

3) Note that cold makes your fingers shrink and heat makes your fingers swell - so it's better to measure in warm temperatures.

4) Wide rings should preferably be bought one size larger.

5) If your measurement falls between two sizes, it's better to choose the larger size.
