Battery Act

General information obligations:

Batteries and rechargeable batteries contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled. The substances contained in batteries and rechargeable batteries have a negative impact on the environment and human health if disposed of improperly. Therefore, batteries and rechargeable batteries must be collected and recycled separately.

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
As an end user, you are legally obligated to properly return used batteries. Please use designated collection points, such as municipal collection points. Alternatively, you can also return batteries and rechargeable batteries contained in our products to us free of charge. You can find our address in our legal notice , among other places.

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

Disposal & Environment

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste

Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury.

Please note the above information.

ElektroG registration:

The electrical and electronic devices we offer come from manufacturers registered with the EAR Foundation in accordance with the ElektroG (Electrical Equipment Act). The verification criterion for this is the WEEE number. As a pure distributor, we refer to this manufacturer's proper registration with the EAR Foundation. The manufacturers' WEEE numbers can be verified at the following link: https://ear-system.de/ear-verzeichnis/hersteller.jsf#no-back

How do I handle lithium batteries and Li-ion batteries?

Lithium batteries are built into almost all modern electronic devices these days—whether it's a laptop, flashlight, or sex toy. To enjoy such devices for as long as possible, you should know how to care for them.

Here are a few simple tips:
  • Lithium batteries require sufficiently powerful chargers. If the charging current is too low, for example, when connected to a PC's USB port, the device may not recognize that charging is about to begin. Therefore, chargers should be able to deliver at least 1,000 mAh of current.
  • For safety reasons, lithium batteries are usually only 40-50% full for transport. Therefore, you should always charge your toy before first use to prevent the fun from ending prematurely.
  • Once charging is complete, you should unplug the toy from the charger to prevent overcharging. Never store the toy plugged into the charger for extended periods.
  • All our sex toys have a safety feature that prevents the battery from being over-discharged, preventing permanent damage. Therefore, the toys automatically turn off when the battery falls below a certain level. Once this happens, don't immediately turn the toy back on to "finish it off." Instead, wait a short time (approx. 10 minutes) and plug in the toy and let it fully charge.
  • Likewise, you should not interrupt the charging process prematurely or recharge it prematurely, as this can have a negative impact on the lifespan of the toy.
  • To enjoy your sex toy for as long as possible, you should wait approximately 30-60 minutes after charging before using it again, allowing the battery to "relax." This ensures that the battery maintains its maximum capacity for as long as possible.
  • If you don't want to/can't use your sex toy for a longer period of time, you should still let it run dry regularly and then recharge it.
  • It is also advisable (if possible) to remove the batteries and rechargeable batteries from the toy (and possibly the remote control) when not in use.

Ultimately, do not dispose of used batteries in household waste, but take them to a designated collection point or to your retailer for disposal.

Of course, the usual safety rules also apply:
  • Batteries and rechargeable batteries are not toys
  • Do not open or damage toys and their batteries by force
  • Do not cover the toy while charging; do not charge it in the storage bag (if included)
  • No changes may be made to the toy or its batteries
  • Do not throw batteries into fire
  • Before each use, please check the toy for visible damage. If any visible damage occurs, do not use or charge the toy.
  • The toy must not be used or charged in an explosive atmosphere
  • If these safety instructions are not observed, it may cause damage to the toy and its batteries and injury to the operator
